HMAS Sydney

Approximately 120 nautical miles off Steep Point on the West Australian coast, a chance to respectfully remember wartime sacrifice and heroism in passing through the area where, in March 2008, the wreckage of HMAS Sydney was discovered 66 years after her tragic sinking with the loss of all hands following a fierce battle with the German ship Kormoran on November 19, 1941.
