Hilo is a coastal city with a population over around 41000 is located in the Hilo Bay near two shield volcanoes Mauna Loa (the largest volcano on earth considered active) and Mauna Kea on Hawaii's Big Island .

Hawaii's Big Island is known for its awesome natural wonders and incredibly varied eco-systems. In fact, most of the world’s climates exist here. It’s possible to ski on Mauna Kea in the morning and swim at the beach in the afternoon.
